Get ready to roll up your sleeves for some intergenerational maker fun with Teacher Molly and Pastor Jean! Adults, youth, and kids are invited to assemble, paint and decorate a wooden flower box to take home. (Or it could be an herb box, or a succulent box, or a bonsai box…) Pastor Jean loves making these boxes and can’t wait to share the fun with everyone. She’ll have all the wood pieces pre-cut for us so this will be an easy and safe project for all ages, working together.
Here’s the scoop:
DATES, TIME & PROGRAM
We’ll have two one-hour sessions in the courtyard, right after church:
Session 1: Sunday September 18th: we’ll assemble and paint our boxes, and pick out our decoration
Session 2: Sunday September 25th: we’ll paint our decoration, let it dry, attach it, and voila – a beautiful flower box to take home.
WILL THERE BE SNACKS?
Of course! Bagels and cream cheese will be served.
Wear clothes and shoes for painting – we’ll be using non-washable paint.
Coffee will be served in the Learning Center these Sundays.
