On Sunday June 4 we will gather in the courtyard after the service for a reception to honor and bid a fond farewell to Pastor Jean Jeffress, and wish her all the best in her new church home, Plymouth UCC in Oakland.
Everyone is invited to bring something for the finger-food buffet: cheese & crackers, chips & salsa, mini quiche, fresh fruit, nuts, pretzels, deviled eggs, mini sandwiches, veggies & dip, etc. We’ll provide beverages and a cake!
You are also invited to write her a thank you card. We are collecting them in the church office and will present them to Jean on June 4. Need a card? Blank cards are available in the Fireside Room.
Logistics
- Please bring your own serving utensils, and retrieve your items from the buffet when you depart.
- If the food you bring is perishable, please bring it in a cooler if possible.
- Bring your food to the Maple Room before the service.
- There will be some seating during the event: on the courtyard benches, and in the Maple Room and Learning Center.
We look forward to gathering for this loving send-off for Pastor Jean, who means so much to our church family.
