When is worship?
Our Sunday worship service is at 10am. We recommend that you arrive five minutes before the service. If you are coming with children, please know that we offer nursery care for toddlers and programs for children. Learn more about our Children and Youth Programs.
Where is the Church?
The church is close to Downtown Los Altos and located just off Foothill Expressway. Our address is:
461 Orange Avenue
Los Altos, CA 94022
Where do I park?
There is ample parking available on both Orange Avenue and Lincoln Avenue.
What should I wear?
People come dressed however they feel most comfortable. Please do the same…you are welcome here!
What can I expect?
Expect to find a warm and friendly, intergenerational community. Our Foothills family is comprised of a diverse group of people raised in different faiths or with none at all with a broad spectrum of beliefs, interests, and histories. We welcome the LGBTQ community in all aspects of our church life. We say “No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.” And we mean it!
Will I be welcome?
As you enter our Sanctuary, our greeter will welcome you and our usher will hand you a bulletin so you can easily follow along. After worship, we invite you to join us in our courtyard for fellowship and coffee.
Can I bring my children?
Yes! We offer nursery care for toddlers. Children and youth ages 3 through 12th grade are invited to join their parents for the first part of worship and gather in the front of the Sanctuary for Children’s Time. Children and youth then leave with their teacher for their age-based groups in the Learning Center. The program ends at 11:15am.
How accessible is the Church?
Our Sanctuary is wheelchair accessible. There are parking spaces close to the Sanctuary for people with physical challenges. Our sounds system is compatible with hearing aid T-coil and assisted-listening devices are available during services.
Can I take part in Communion?
No matter who you are…you’re welcome at Foothills. This includes our Communion table. The first Sunday of each month we celebrate Communion.
Must I donate?
At each service, there is an offering that supports the Church in a wide range of social issues, but as a visitor, please do not feel any pressure to give. Learn about the organizations that we support through our offerings.
