Service and Justice Trip

Every year youth and adults from Foothills go on a Service Trip.  Recently our youth have chosen to focus on two main justice issues, housing and the environment.

As a church family we are lucky.  While some of us have experienced housing insecurity in these tough economic times, we have adequate shelter.  We have a wish that all people could have adequate shelter and we work towards a day when our wish will come true.

Genesis tells us that when God created the heavens and the earth God immediately saw that it was good.  We see that the earth is good, too, and we strive to participate in activities that promote and protect God’s creation.

There are many ways to be involved in this effort, from going on the Service and Justice Trip to helping to raise money to sponsor the trip, to learning more about the justice issues of our service work.
